The parties can book either a full day or a half day of mediation.

A full day of mediation by Zoom or by other means of video conferencing costs $10,000.

This fee covers not only up to eight (8) consecutive hours of mediation time on the dayof the mediation, but also the time that I will spend prior to the mediation reviewing the parties’ mediation briefs and speaking once with each side.

Each party shall submit a brief to me no later than three (3) business days prior to the date of the mediation which they also contemporaneously shall share with the other side. In the same time frame, each party also can submit an additional brief to me that is for my eyes only. If more time is needed from me subsequent to the eight hour mediation day, the fee for that additional time shall be $1,000 per hour.

A half day of mediation by Zoom or by other means of video conferencing is subject to the same terms as above. A half day will only cost $6,000 and will only be up to four (4) consecutive hours of mediation time on the day of the mediation.

If more time is needed subsequent to the four hour mediation day, it shall only be in four-hour increments, and the fee for each such increment shall be $6,000. If the parties desire to have the mediation conducted in-person, rather than by Zoom or by other means of video conferencing, this must be communicated to me orally and in writing (written notice via email) at the time of the booking.

If the parties will provide a location for the in-person mediation with both a common room and rooms for private caucuses, that location will be used and there will be no location charge. If I am to provide the in-person mediation location, then there will be a location charge the parties will need to pay prior to the mediation. I do not charge for travel expenses or travel time if the in-person mediation occurs in Los Angeles, Ventura, or Santa Barbara County. If it occurs elsewhere, then I will charge for these things and an estimate will be provided to you, upon request, in advance.

All mediation fees and charges noted above must be deposited in advance and are non- refundable unless the parties cancel or take the previously reserved mediation date off calendar by providing both oral and written notice to me (written notice via email) more than ten (10) business days prior to the mediation. I do not charge an administrative fee.
